Woodgate Valley Urban Farm is a Registered Charity dedicated to offering a range of practical work and volunteering experience for those within our local community. There is a special emphasis on supporting young people with Special Educational Needs, those suffering from social exclusion, educational exclusion and poor mental health. In 2023, it launched Reboot Greencare – a project which provides service users with time outside working to care for animals, orchards and woodlands and growing plants and vegetables. The project accepts children age 8-16 on a 1:1 and/or small group basis for a maximum of 8 hours per service user per week.
