Newbigin Community Trust is a community-led charity which provides a place of welcome, inclusion and social cohesion for neighbours in Winson Green and the Handsworth area. The Trust works across three sites in the area:
- Lodge Road Church Centre where it provides a drop in crisis service and a social support cafe.
- Benson Community School where NCT runs a Parent Hub offering drop-in advocacy appointments, mum’s groups and after school kids’ clubs.
- Newbigin House where it holds community meals, monthly community events, kids’ clubs and a weekly youth group.
NCT runs activities and trips with families and children during the holidays including some that are part of Fit for All.
