Children’s Quarter is a cooperative made up of communities and charities that support the idea that places, spaces, services and society should be open and welcoming to ALL children and young people.
CQ was set up in 2017 in Birmingham. It includes about 70 member groups in and around the West Midlands. Birmingham is a city in which one in four citizens is under the age of 18. And one in four children and young people is vulnerable to social exclusion using the measures set out by the Children’s Commissioner for England.
Children’s Quarter is the body that organises and coordinates Fit for All and that works with, and supports, member groups to put on the sessions and events listed on these pages.
