Break the Ice at Hamstead Hall

One hundred and fifty young people will be taking part in sport, play and festive arts and crafts activities at Hamstead Hall Academy in Handsworth Wood this Christmas. The holiday club runs for 4 days during the first week of holidays and lunch is provided. There’s a welcome for many children with special needs and disabilities as well as children who are eligible for free school meals.

More About Hamstead Hall

Hamstead Hall is a secondary school located in Handsworth Wood with 1100 pupils who reflect the diversity of the area. The school has extensive grounds and many outdoor activities are available. Hamstead Hall also hosts one of Birmingham’s SEND Resource Hubs for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The school has an inclusive ethos and aims to be a fully inclusive learning community in which everyone achieves success through hard work and harmony. Hamstead Hall has run Fit for All school holiday clubs for several years and doesn’t limit places to pupils who attend the school.
