Break the Ice at Parks for Play

Parks for Play will host two special Christmas sessions on 20 December SEND children and young people at their Coronation Road Playcentre. These sessions will use the drama and music skills of the Parks delivery team to run theatrical dancing and singing sessions and turn their new sensory space into a seasonal grotto. Children will be able to choose from a ranges of vegetable displays in new shapes and forms, dips, and sauces of all varieties in all colours to accompany pastas rice and baked potatoes. They will also be decorating their own sugar free biscuits and cakes to take away. On 21 December, staff and families will accompany ten young people to Ackers Adventure for tubing, team games, a treasure hunt and lunch. On 29th December less mobile or outdoor-inclined young people will go with a group of staff and families to an interactive relaxed theatre production in Solihull to participate comfortably in a physical and musical performance.
