Fit for All Winter 2024: what’s on where?

Fit for All is coordinated and managed by Children’s Quarter. The aim is to provide play, youth, sports and arts activities and healthy meals during school holidays in sessions that include children and young people who are disabled/have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and from families that are struggling for whatever reason.

The project is delivered by a network of community groups, schools, charities and local organisations that are members of the Children’s Quarter Cooperative. The sessions they lead vary between providers, eg some provide sessions that are 100% geared to children with SEND and their siblings; some sessions are for children with complex needs; some for young people that are vulnerable; but quite a lot of Fit for All activities include all children and young people regardless of what labels have been put on them and whether they get extra support at school. And in supporting children and young people, we want to support families too.

After all, school holidays should be fun – for everyone.
