New Hope Carnival of the Arts in Highgate, Birmingham

An invitation from young artists to everyone in our community to enjoy arts and food in the Park on Friday 21 August.

Come and celebrate the art we have made in Highgate – and share your own in our shared green space.  Young people have been meeting at Friction Arts since the start of the School Holidays to make art in different media.  The Carnival of the Arts at New Hope Park is our chance to show you what we’ve made – and to invite you.  It’s your chance to see local life in a new light and to add your perspective on what being home in Highgate, or just visiting, feels like.  You’re welcome either way!

This is a free event with food – so please let us know you’re coming by filling in the form below.  And make your way on the day to New Hope Community Park off Eyton Croft B12 0YT around 1pm.  If you’re visiting from further afield, buses 8, 35, 47, 50, 4, 6 and X2 all stop not far away.  If the weather’s nice it’s a 25 minute walk from Moor St or New St stations.  Or you can find parking in the neighbourhood.
