Youth Pathway is the growing project for young people who are eligible for Free School Meals, or who are vulnerable or have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Summer scheme at St Michael’s Primary School, Handsworth, B21 0UX runs free sessions on Wednesday-Friday over four weeks between 10am and 2pm:
Week 1: Wednesday 23 – Friday 25 July
Week 2: Wednesday 30 July – Friday 1 August
Week 3: Wednesday 6 – Friday 8 August
Week 4: Wednesday 13 – Friday 15 August
As well as growing and allotment gardening activities, nature conservation work and helping to prepare food, participants can get involved in sports, arts and craft activities on site. Free packed lunches are provided and young people can get involved in preparing food too.
