Hamstead Hall SUMMER 2025

Hamstead Hall’s Holiday Programme is in full swing this Summer, with regular free sessions for children 5-16 years on Mondays-Thursdays who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or who are classed as ‘vulnerable’ (including being a young carer or having a SEND sibling) or who are eligible for free school meals over four weeks:

  • 21 to 24 July 2025 – 10 to 2pm
  • 28 to 31 July 2025 – 10 to 2pm
  • 4 to 7 August 2025 – 10 to 2pm
  • 11 to 14 August 2025 – 10 to 2pm

There’s a wide range of sports on offer and activities include: rock climbing, archery, forest school style activities, orienteering, team building, arts and crafts, cookery, dance, drama, various trips to places of interest.

Free, healthy food for SEND, vulnerable and Free School Meal entitled children includes, for example:

  • Chicken salad wrap (and vegetarian alternative) and potato waffles, drink, snack
  • Tomato pasta, drink and a snack
  • Chicken tikka (and vegetarian alternative), salad and rice, drink and a snack
  • Various sandwiches, potato wedges, drink and snacks.

Additional Paid-for sessions:

Hamstead Hall sessions are also available on a paid basis for children and young people that aren’t eligible for free sessions. The programme also runs on Fridays and during a fifth week of the holidays on a paid-for basis only.

There is also the option to extend the day through breakfast club (runs 8-10am) and through the afternoon (2-4pm and 4-6pm) on a paod-for basis.
