Attractions including Birmingham’s Thinktank and Botanical Gardens, Bear Grylls Adventure in Solihull and in London and other cities are offer 2 for the price of 1 admissions if you go by train and have signed up to get a voucher from the National Rail website.
The offer runs all year and whilst some attractions have some exclusions during school holidays, a wide range of attractions in Birmingham and Solihull and nationally have the discount on offer for at least part of August.
For example: Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham has the 2 for 1 offer for the last week of the school holidays (28 August – 1 September). The National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham has the same availability. Most other local venues have the 2 for 1 Rail offer available throughout August. A list of West Midlands attractions that are part of the scheme is on the Days Out Guide for Birmingham.
Further afield, Tower Bridge; The London Eye; The Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh; Warwick Castle; Alton Towers; and Chessington World of Adventure, are all offering 2 for 1 tickets and there are other discounts available at attractions including Cadbury World and the National Football Museum in Manchester. The full Days Out Guide – which also explains how to get the cheap tickets – is online at https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/
2 for 1 tickets are generally restricted to Adult price tickets, but this can still represent a discount even when visiting with a child.
