Children’s Quarter is the cooperative of groups that runs Fit for All. The cooperative has been bringing together staff and families from different groups to work with Meriden Adventure Playground Association so as to make adventure play accessible to children with complex special needs. This summer, CQ is aiming to run weekly sessions at the adventure playground in Chelmsley Wood with a very high level of skilled staff.
Activities
The range of play activities at Meriden is defined by the children who take part and their imagination. The site enables creative outdoor physical activity.
Food
Lunch will be provided, but children may also bring their own food to the sessions.
Adventure Play at Meriden Adventure Playground is available to SEND children aged 8-16 years, but the site is not suitable for everyone and numbers are very limited due to the high staff ratio needed.
